Web Anvil was founded by Joe and Kevin, two software engineers who believe small businesses deserve the same quality, reliability, and performance as enterprise-level companies without the complexity or cost.
After years working in enterprise software and digital marketing, they saw a growing problem. Local businesses were being crowded out online by large corporate ad budgets while being left with two poor choices. Overpriced agency websites that were slow, inflexible, and hard to maintain, or DIY platforms that looked acceptable on day one but quickly fell behind in speed, security, and search visibility.
At the same time, Joe and Kevin noticed a steady decline in the overall quality of small business websites. Many sites were outdated, poorly optimized, and treated as one-time projects rather than living parts of a business. Owners were expected to manage updates, hosting, SEO tools, and technical issues themselves, or pay extra every time something broke.
Web Anvil was created to solve that problem.

I have over six years of experience as a software engineer and degrees from Salt Lake Community College and Weber State University. We created Web Anvil to help small business owners who feel left behind in today’s fast-moving digital world.

I’ve been a front-end web developer for over five years, completely self-taught, with certifications in web development, server management, and design. At Web Anvil, I specialize in SEO and website design—ensuring that the sites we build aren’t just visually appealing but also fast, functional, and built to rank.
Joe and I created Web Anvil because we saw small businesses struggling with overpriced, bloated websites that didn’t actually help them grow. Many business owners feel stuck with WordPress or expensive agencies that overpromise and underdeliver. I wanted to change that—to give my community access to affordable, high-quality websites and a reliable expert they can turn to when they need help.
I’m a problem solver, a perfectionist, and a people person. I love figuring out the best way to make a website work for a business, whether that’s improving SEO, optimizing performance, or designing a seamless user experience. But more than that, I love giving business owners peace of mind—so they can focus on what they do best while knowing their website is in good hands.
I come from humble beginnings, and I believe in helping everyday people succeed. Outside of work, I spend my time with my wife and son and staying involved in my community.
